The final red Hybrid Tea of my career in rosebreeding. It follows in the style of most of my later roses having medium-sized blooms on stems long enough for cutting but produced in widespread clusters. This allows you to have cut-flowers for the house without denuding the garden display. The plant, extremely vigorous and healthy with rich green foliage, reddish when young, starts to produce flowerbuds for the second crop just as the first crop is finishing. It continues to flower and flourish all summer long. Awarded the Gold Star of the South Pacific for best rose by the National Rose Society of New Zealand and a Gold Medal for best HT at Auckland's 1998 Rose of the Year.
